World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (3.3.5a) private server.
1. Download the client
Download WOW.zip
About 17.8 GB. Keep the download running until it finishes; it can take a while.
2. Extract and set the realm
- Extract
WOW.zipto any folder with enough free space (about 18 GB or more). Using 7-Zip or Windows Explorer works. - The extracted folder is
World of Warcraft 3.3.5a (no install). Open it. - The realm is already set to
wow.thaxton.xyzinData\enUS\realmlist.wtf. If you want to check, open that file in Notepad and confirm it reads:set realmlist wow.thaxton.xyz
- Run
Wow.exefrom the extracted folder.
3. Create an account and play
Account signup is coming soon. Until it opens, ask an admin in Discord to create your account.
Account names have no restrictions. Please keep your password private. Admins do not need it.
- Log in with your account name and password.
- Select the AzerothCore realm and enter the world.
Troubleshooting
- Can't connect or "Unable to connect to realm": confirm
realmlist.wtfsayswow.thaxton.xyz, then restart the game.
